NZ gives Fiji million-dollar handout for UN talks

NEW ZEALAND is giving Fiji $1.3 million and the services of our top climate ambassador to help to chair international climate negotiations later this year.

Fiji is the host of the 23rd Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Agreement on Climate Change, at which the rules that govern the Paris Agreement will be negotiated.
