LOSING NEMO: When the anemone becomes the enemy

THE anemonefish – better known as Nemo after the children’s film Finding Nemo – is at risk from the impacts of climate change.

A report published yesterday in Nature Communications says the fish exhibits higher stress and lower reproductive output when its home anemone becomes bleached in warming oceans.
