How a carbon-capture plant could look


BILLIONS of tonnes of carbon dioxide could be removed from the air with special filters, scientists say.

A new study led by the Berlin-based Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate change shows that direct air carbon capture and storage is more viable than technologies using plants to capture carbon dioxide when land use is taken into account.
