TARANAKI is talking up the hydrogen economy to replace its petrochemical wealth.

As the centre of New Zealandís oil and gas industry as well as a strong dairying area, Taranaki is expected to be one of the first regions to feel the impact of the countryís move to a low-carbon economy.
