Nationwide, it was an unusually warm July

WHEN it comes to temperature, New Zealand hasnít had a below-average month for two-and-a-half years.

Data from the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research shows the month just-passed was the second-warmest July on record, continuing a run of mild weather that began in January 2017.
