Fewer emissions, but we need to be doing more

NEW ZEALAND'S emissions fell slightly in 2018 – but not because the country has changed its behaviour.

Data released by the Ministry for the Environment today shows that in 2018, New Zealand was responsible for the release of 78.86 million tonnes of greenhouse gases, down one per cent on the previous year.
