CARBON CLIMBS: Price up 23% in four months

Carbon prices continue their long climb out of the doldrums, rising 23 per cent this year alone.

Over the past year, the price of spot NZUs (the domestic carbon units) has gone up 76 per cent, from $6.70 on April 7 last year, to close at $11.85 on CommTrade last night, and market analysts say that $15 in the near future isnít an unreasonable expectation.
