Unilever lines up $2 billion to go low-carbon

CLIMATE Leaders’ Coalition member Unilever says it will spend nearly $2 billion globally over the next decade on low-carbon projects ranging from regenerative agriculture to carbon sequestration.
The new €1 billion ($NZ1.76 billion) Climate and Nature Fund comes as the company promises to make its products carbon-neutral by 2039 – more than a decade sooner than New Zealand’s national target.
