CARBON FORESTS: First, prove there's a problem, says Parker

Details of the Government’s response to concerns about farmland being converted to carbon forests are starting to emerge.
The Fifty Shades of Green group has been campaigning to stop carbon forests being planted on productive farmland, and earlier this week, Environment Minister David Parker said while landowners should be free to decide how their land is used, local councils should have some control over where carbon forests are planted.
